This comprehensive train-the-trainer course will give you the tools you need not only to master Premiere Pro with confidence, but also to teach it effectively – in a practical, in-depth and didactically sound way.
You will learn how to set up Premiere Pro professionally, use it with high performance and organize complex editing projects – from individual projects to large team productions. You will gain in-depth knowledge of all relevant work areas: from media import and rough cut to fine cut, audio and image editing, title creation, finalization and export.
Special focus is placed on the latest functions and AI-supported features, such as text-based editing, automatic color adjustment, remix tools or auto reframe. You will work with modern editing workflows, learn best practices in teamwork and deepen the integration of Creative Cloud, MOGRTs, Frame.io & Co.
Of course, there’s also plenty of practice: with exercises and concrete tasks, you can put what you’ve learned directly into practice – so you can consolidate your knowledge in the long term.

Prerequisites
To participate in the Train-the-Trainer course, you should meet the following requirements:
- Confident with Adobe Premiere Pro: You know the basic functions, have already implemented your own editing projects and work regularly with the software.
- Experience in video production: You have experience in editing film, series, documentary or social media projects – whether in a company, as a freelancer or in training.
- Interest in knowledge transfer: You want to pass on your know-how in a structured way – e.g. as a trainer, lecturer, instructor or team leader.
- Basic didactic understanding (desirable): Initial experience in training situations or coaching is helpful, but not mandatory.
- Basic technical knowledge: You have a basic understanding of file formats, codecs, system settings and file organization.
- Your own computer with Adobe Premiere Pro (for online participation): You should have a functional working environment for the practical exercises during the course.
